DR. KLEINHENZ

Dr. Kleinhenz is a native of Ohio, born in St. Mary. He earned his Bachelor of Science in pre-medicine from Kent State University in 1977, where he was Phi Beta Kappa. He completed his medical training at Wright State University in 1981. He stayed in Dayton for his orthopedic training under Dr. Hobart Klaaren at what was then the Miami Valley Hospital Orthopedic residency (now Wright State University) which he completed in 1986. Near the end of this training he spent time in Germany, gaining an international perspective on orthopedics. He returned to Dayton in 1986 to join Far Oaks Orthopedists Inc. and he has remained here to raise four children with his wife. Dr. Kleinhenz is active in the orthopedic community and is a member of the Dayton Orthopedic Society, the Ohio Orthopedic Society, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedics at the Wright State Department of Orthopedics. He is board certified and is on active staff at Miami Valley Hospital, Kettering Medical Center and Far Hills Surgery Center. He maintains a strong interest in adult reconstruction (joint replacement), sports medicine (arthroscopy) and trauma (fracture care).
